What kind of therapy do you do?

I work in a way that’s warm, present, and emotionally attuned. I’m tracking not just your thoughts and story, but your nervous system—what softens, what tightens, what feels like too much. We’ll notice which part of you is leading (the overfunctioner, the avoider, the one bracing for disappointment), and create space for clarity, connection, and relief.

This isn’t about “fixing.” It’s about understanding what’s happening with care, so something real can shift.

Do I need a trauma history to work with you?

Not at all. Some clients come in with a clear trauma story. Others are navigating patterns they can’t shake—around alcohol, relationships, burnout, or simply holding too much for too long. You don’t need a diagnosis or a dramatic origin story. You just have to want something to feel different.

Will we spend a lot of time in the past?

Only if the past is still showing up in your present. We won’t rehash for the sake of it. But if something old keeps surfacing in your body or relationships, we’ll bring gentle, precise attention to it—so you can stop repeating what no longer fits.

What if I don’t know what I need?

That’s actually a very honest place to begin. You don’t need the “right” words. If you’re anxious, unmotivated, emotionally overwhelmed—or just quietly longing for change—we’ll start there. Together, we’ll begin to listen for what’s underneath.

What’s it like to work with you?

Clients describe me as steady, warm, and deeply real. I stay close to what matters in the moment—not just what makes sense logically. I’m not behind a wall. I offer thoughtful reflections, real feedback, and a grounded presence. Some sessions feel deep and griefy. Others are clarifying or quietly empowering. No matter the tone, I’ll meet you there.

I’m not sure I’m ready for deep work. Is that okay?

Totally. Most people don’t come in feeling “ready.” They come in tired—or stuck. If there’s even a small part of you hoping things could feel different, that’s enough. You don’t need to be brave or certain to begin. Just curious.

How do sessions work and what are your fees?

Sessions are 50 minutes and typically once a week. I also offer extended 80-minute sessions for clients who prefer more spacious work.

My current rates are listed on the Rates page.

I’m not in-network with any insurance providers, but I can offer a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan includes that option.

We’ll begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit
