    MY APPROACH TO THERAPY

Flexible tools, real support—therapy that meets you where you are.

Maybe you’re not sure what kind of therapy you need—you just know something needs to shift. That’s more than enough to begin.

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Just like no two lives unfold the same way, no two therapy sessions should either. I don’t follow a rigid script—I listen deeply, track what’s happening in your inner world, and draw from a range of approaches depending on what’s needed in the moment.

Some days, you might need space to reflect and feel deeply. Other times, you’ll want clear feedback or practical support. The methods I use are grounded in experience, informed by the field, and shaped by what actually helps people grow.

Rather than relying on a single model, I integrate techniques from psychoanalytic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches. Each of these informs the work—but none defines it. What matters most is how we use them to support your growth.

Psychoanalytic work, especially, invites us to move slowly and honestly—tuning in to how early relationships echo through your present life, how emotional patterns live quietly in the body, and how the therapeutic relationship itself becomes part of the healing process.

We’ll start with what matters most to you right now and follow the threads that emerge. That might include:

    • Practical guidance for boundaries, decisions, or self-confidence

    • Processing overwhelming emotions or navigating relationship challenges

    • Understanding deeper patterns rooted in early life experiences

    • Regulating your nervous system after stress or trauma

    • Creating space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters

This is collaborative work. No rigid formulas. No pressure to approach therapy a certain way—only support to discover what works for you.

Sometimes, all it takes is one insight or one change in rhythm—and suddenly, things feel more doable.

Together, we’ll adapt the work to what’s most alive for you—whether that’s deeper reflection, nervous system support, or staying steady through a demanding season.

If you’re curious about how therapy might look for you, I’m happy to answer questions and explore the best fit.
