Midlife · Identity, relationships & direction

When the life you built
needs another look.

You may have a life that looks settled and still wonder what you want from it now. Changes in work, relationships, family roles, or your sense of yourself can bring questions you have not had time to ask.

What still fits, and what has changed

You might be caring for other people while wondering where your own needs belong. A relationship may feel different, work may have lost its meaning, or a role that once defined you may be changing.

We can talk about dissatisfaction, grief, anxiety, loneliness, and possibility without requiring you to call it a crisis. You can care about the life you have and want parts of it to change.

Something small to consider

Choose one part of your life that feels unsettled. Try finishing these sentences on paper:

  1. Something I want to keep is…
  2. Something I no longer want to carry in the same way is…
  3. One small change I could explore is…

You don’t have to decide what the rest of your life will look like. Begin with what your answers tell you about this week.

An active conversation about your life now

I listen closely, ask questions, and offer feedback as we think together. We can look at a recurring pattern, consider a different perspective, or work out something useful to try between sessions.

Earlier experiences matter when they help us understand a present concern. We also stay with the decisions, relationships, and feelings you are facing now.

A question to take with you

What would you want to give more room to if you did not have to prove that the life you have built is the right one?

You can bring your answer—or your disagreement with the video—into a conversation. There is room for your own experience.
