Therapy for men · Denver & Colorado

You can be capable.
And still want help.

You may be the person others depend on, while finding it harder to enjoy your own life. Therapy is a place to talk honestly about what is happening and work out what could help.

Start with what is difficult

You don’t need to arrive with the right words for your feelings. We can start with something concrete: an argument, a difficult day at work, feeling disconnected, or noticing that you shut down when someone wants to talk.

I work with men navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, anger, loss, and questions about work or direction. We can look at the pressure to provide, succeed, or handle things alone when those expectations matter in your life.

A conversation you can use

I listen closely and take an active part in our work. I ask questions, offer feedback, and help you consider other perspectives. We might look closely at a conflict, practice saying something important, or find a different response to try.

My approach draws on psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy. We focus on your present concerns and bring in earlier experiences when they help us understand a pattern. Sometimes what you take away is a practical step; sometimes it is a clearer understanding of yourself.

Finding a way to begin

You can ask questions about how I work before deciding to start. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, online sessions across Colorado, and in-person appointments by request in Denver.
